The DWB250 cryotrap, in combination with a molecular pump, is used for magnetron sputtering coating of mobile phone back covers.

The DZB550 cryopump is used for smartphone coating.

In the precision manufacturing sector of the mobile phone industry, magnetron sputtering coating is a critical process for achieving high-gloss finishes, wear resistance, and fingerprint‑resistance on smartphone back panels. This process places extremely stringent demands on vacuum conditions and the control of residual gases, particularly water vapor.

1. DWB250 Cryotrap Combined with a Molecular Pump: This configuration is used in the magnetron sputtering coating process for smartphone back covers. The cryotrap efficiently captures water vapor and organic volatiles released within the coating chamber, significantly reducing the load on the molecular pump. As a result, a cleaner vacuum environment can be achieved at lower cost, effectively enhancing the adhesion and uniformity of the deposited film.

2. DZB550 Cryopump: This pump is used directly in the smartphone coating process. With its high pumping speed and exceptional efficiency in removing residual gases such as water vapor and hydrogen, the DZB550 cryopump delivers a clean, oil‑free, and stable ultra‑high vacuum environment within the coating chamber. This meets the demands of continuous, rapid coating in large‑scale production, ensuring consistent film quality and batch-to-batch uniformity for smartphone housings and components.
